Extended opening 0700-0800 is on two mornings per week (for appointments booked in advance only). This is very popular with working people.

PLEASE NOTE: Penryn Surgery is closed from 1-3pm on the first Friday of every month for staff training. The next dates for training are:

The surgery and pharmacy are closed on Saturday and Sunday

Doctors run clinics at Stithians Surgery every morning and also on Monday afternoon.
The doctors whom usually work there are Dr Katz, Dr Ellis and Dr Beckett

The practice nurse provides surgeries on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and a blood test clinic on Tuesday morning.
The Health Visitor holds regular clinics every second and fourth Wednesday of the month between 1400 and 1500.

When the surgery is closed, phone 01326 372502 and your call will automatically be transferred to the Serco Out of Hours GP service.
You will speak to a telephonist first, who will take note of your personal details together with a brief description of your problem. The telephonist will offer you options appropriate to your needs.
If you need to speak to a doctor the telephonist will ask you to replace your receiver, your call is then registered and placed in a short queue. The doctor will ring you back to advise you and make appropriate arrangements.
Serco has several clinics (known as Primary Care Centres) running emergency surgeries throughout evenings and weekends - those in our area are based at Falmouth Hospital, Helston Cottage Hospital, Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital and Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro.
The area is also served by GPs and their drivers in specially equipped cars visiting those people too ill to attend a Primary Care Centre.
