Online Ordering of Prescriptions
When ordering your prescription online, please be aware that all prescriptions will be prepared at Penryn Surgery unless specifically requested.
If you order your prescription online and are a Stithians or Mawnan patient and wish to collect your prescription from these sites, please make this clear on your prescription request.
Before ordering your prescriptions online, please read the following important information:
You can only use our prescription delivery service if:
1. You are a dispensing patient
ie live more than 1 mile from a chemist. (Most addresses in the Falmouth and Penryn town areas are not dispensing).
2. You have completed a delivery service application form and returned it to Penryn Surgery.

It must be printed, signed and returned to the dispensary at Penryn Surgery before your prescription can be delivered.
At the moment we do not offer a home delivery service.
If you live more than a mile from the nearest chemist you can apply to collect your medication from one of our delivery points; Mabe Post Office, Perranarworthal Post Office, Ponsanooth Post Office, Rame Post Office or Mylor Stores. Please collect an application form for this from the dispensary at Penryn Surgery.

We try to process prescription orders as efficiently and safely as possible.
Please allow:
3 working days for your prescription to be ready, and
4 working days to collect your medication from our our pharmacy
You can help us by
Making sure you have not run completely out of your medication before ordering more. If ordering on a Friday make sure you have enough to last until Wednesday.
Making sure you clearly identify the name and strength of the medication you require. Ideally keep hold of the counterfoil from your last prescription and indicate on this which you require.
Enclosing a Stamped Addressed Envelope when posting if you require us to send it back to you.
In Penryn by dropping your written request into the post box next to the prescription desk. This helps us and also saves time waiting to see the Receptionist.
